About this module

Stellar Tweaks is a performance and power management module with selectable operating profiles and a WebUI for supported root managers, plus a more limited Axeron non-root mode.

Profiles for Changing Workloads

The project combines a native daemon with device-specific controls and a WebUI.

Gaming

Prioritizes active game workloads and available performance controls.

Balanced

Uses a general-purpose profile for normal interaction and multitasking.

Powersaver

Reduces selected power demands and can limit refresh rate during battery saving.

Supported environment

The README documents Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch for its root mode, which can access kernel governors, I/O schedulers, and supported display controls. Axeron Manager provides a separate non-root mode restricted to userspace profiling and properties. Hardware features such as charging bypass or vendor display controls only work when the device exposes a compatible interface.

Installation

  1. Choose the release package matching the documented deployment path.
  2. Install the ZIP through Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch for full root mode, or import it through Axeron Manager for non-root mode.
  3. Reboot after root installation so the daemon can map supported hardware controls.
  4. Open the WebUI from the manager and select a profile appropriate to the workload.

Profiles and diagnostics

The WebUI exposes settings for gaming, balanced, and powersaver operation. The README also documents stellar-daemon stats for current diagnostics and stellar-daemon clean tweaks, clean config, or clean all for increasingly broad rollback. Use the appropriate cleanup command when retiring a configuration.

Tuning limits

Kernel scheduling, GPU governors, refresh rate, and charging controls vary by device. The author's feature list describes intended behavior; it does not provide a reproducible benchmark proving performance or battery gains on every chipset. Avoid running another performance module that writes the same kernel parameters, then compare frame time, temperature, and power under a repeatable workload.
