About this module

BreWheel is rrr333nnn333's fork of Treat Wheel, the Zygisk module from PerformanC, the team behind ReZygisk. ThePedroo is credited as co-author. The fork follows upstream closely: this build syncs with upstream commit bcb8f29.

What the fork changes

Compared with upstream Treat Wheel, BreWheel:

  • drops Magisk support,
  • drops APatch support,
  • drops the deny list logic inversion,
  • adds an ANDROID_HOME variable,
  • improves the WebUI,
  • and renames the module to BreWheel.

So this is a KernelSU-only build. If you're on Magisk or APatch, use upstream PerformanC/Treat-Wheel-Zygisk instead.

Requirements

  • KernelSU (official or an API-compatible fork)
  • ReZygisk 508 or newer
  • Android 7.1 or newer

Upstream is blunt about this: there's no support if these aren't met. Treat Wheel itself is written in C99 and aims to be traceless and simple.

Setting up ReVanced Umount (RVU)

RVU is the only feature that needs any setup. For Treat Wheel to find and unmount a ReVanced module's mounts, that module has to ship a file named tw_config in its module folder with this content:

module_type=revanced
allow_umount=true

That tells it how many ReVanced modules exist, and therefore how many mounts to look for and unmount.

Installation

  1. Make sure ReZygisk 508+ is installed and working in KernelSU.
  2. Flash BreWheel-0.0.11+.zip in KernelSU.
  3. Reboot, then add tw_config to any ReVanced modules you want unmounted.
