Since the official Magisk application removed its built-in module repository, the Android modification community needed a reliable way to discover, download, and update modules directly from their devices. MMRL (Magisk Modules Repo Loader) steps up to brilliantly fill that void. It is a highly customizable, open-source module manager designed for the modern rooting era.
Core Capabilities
Explore the sophisticated features that transform MMRL into the ultimate hub for your systemless modifications.
Universal Management
MMRL is environment-agnostic. It fluently detects and manages modules across Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch ecosystems simultaneously.
Multi-Repo Support
Add multiple custom JSON repositories from community providers. Stay updated with the latest versions of your favorite tweaks from around the globe.
Material You UI
Experience a beautiful, modern interface that respects your system's dynamic colors, providing a consistent Material 3 experience on your device.
Advanced Spoofing
The Spoofed variant alters its package identity, making it significantly harder for root-detecting applications to find the manager on your device.
How Does MMRL Work?
Upon first launch, MMRL requests Superuser (Root) access to gain read and write permissions for the /data/adb/modules directory. Unlike a simple file downloader, MMRL actively interprets module metadata to ensure compatibility before installation.
By fetching repository manifests, the app creates a centralized marketplace for your mods. When you hit install, MMRL manages the download and hands over the package to your specific root environment for a seamless integration.
